Halloween Hostility 2011
Pay-Per-View Event
9.00PM - 12.00AM PST
American Airlines Arena
Miami, Florida
Sunday, October 30th, 2011

(Backstage at the American Airlines Arena. Carl Thompson is backstage. Quinn Murphy walks out of the locker room as Carl is heading in...)

Quinn Murphy: Hey! Great News! I got an elephant!

Carl Thompson: Pssh, elephants are for losers, Quinn, which is what you're going to look like tonight if you have one for your (making quote symbols with his fingers) grand entrance. Besides, I've got one up on you. I got me a lion.

(Carl crosses his arms and smiles as he looks down at Quinn...)

Quinn Murphy: Well, if I'm lucky, that lion will bite you in the ass.

Carl Thompson: You're just jealous.

Quinn Murphy: You're right. I'm jealous. You caught me, Carl. How can I be a big shot like you? You have a lion!

Carl Thompson: Maybe even two!

Quinn Murphy: Two lions! How ever will I compete with that? Maybe I should just admit defeat now? What do you think? Should I even show up for our match?

Carl Thompson: Now, Quinn, you already know the answer to that question.

Quinn Murphy: You're right, I do. I mean I'm sure you're not going to want to show up after my entrance. I mean not everyone can have an elephant and a dancing bear! I was afraid that the dancing bear would be too much, but if you're going to have two lions...

Carl Thompson: Dancing bear?

(Quickly he strikes the look of worry from his face and glares at his adversary...)

Carl Thompson: Yeah? Well you can have all the dancing bears you want, Quinn, because in the end it will be Carl Thompson they remember when I wrestle the alligator I brought. Oh yeah, an alligator, then you and Morgan.

Quinn Murphy: Yikes! An alligator! And I thought wrestling pre-match with a Yeti was going to get the crowd going.

Carl Thompson: Or a guy dressed like one, more likely. It wouldn't matter even if you could find a real one. When these people see the air display I have set up for them they're going to freak out. Fighter jets all flying in unison, bro. Nothing beats that.

Quinn Murphy: Yeah, cause people inside the arena are going to be able to see the fighter jets outside. Sounds "awesome". Good thinking, Carl!

Carl Thompson: Oh and a dude dressed like a Yeti is better? Jeez, Quinn, it's like you're not even trying for a great entrance.

Quinn Murphy: You're right, I guess I just don't have my A-Game tonight.

(Quinn and Carl are interrupted when rapper Eminem comes into camera's view.,,)

Eminem: Hey Quinn! Sorry to interrupt but I had a few questions about this entrance I'm doing with you. So, I have all the lyrics for your new theme song done, but I've not quite sure how I feel about rapping on a camel. Is that totally necessary?

(Quinn smirks at Carl...)

Quinn Murphy: Let's head to catering Marshall, we can discuss the finer details there.

(Turning to Carl...)

Quinn Murphy: You take care of those lions, don't let them eat the alligator!

(Suddenly Chuck Norris comes into view standing next to Carl. He stares down Quinn and his guest rapper...)

Chuck Norris:There a problem here?

(Chuck takes a bite out of an apple as he waits for a response. Quinn and Eminem look at each other...)

Eminem: Dude! I can't top Chuck Norris.

Quinn Murphy: There's only one thing that can top Chuck Norris.

(Quinn thinks for a minute. He whispers something to Eminem...)

Quinn Murphy: Hey! Chuck! Whatever he's paying you, I'll double it!

Carl Thompson: (laughs) No dice, Quinn. Chuck Norris is a man of honor and you can't buy him out like that.

(Carl looks over at a fairly neutral looking Chuck Norris...)

Carl Thompson: Right?

(Two of Quinn's Quinntuplets Ashley and Jessica enter the camera's view...)

Quinn Murphy: Chuck, I'll triple his offer and lend you Jessica here. She's a huge fan.

Carl Thompson: (looking at Ashley) Jessica, don't do it!

Jessica: I'm Jessica, silly.

Ashley: And I'm Ashley!

Carl Thompson: Whatever...

Chuck Norris: Hey, I've got an even better idea.

(As Jessica, Ashley and Carl bicker over correct names, Eminem and Chuck have their own conversation...)

Eminem: Are these two for real, dawg?

Chuck Norris: It would appear so. Personally I'm not sure I even want to be here for this.

Eminem: You're telling me. (thinks for a second) I have an idea.

Quinn Murphy: (talking to Carl) And you still can't tell them apart? Oh! Now THAT's awesome, Carl.

Carl Thompson: I can't wait to kick your face in, Murphy!

(Both stop and suddenly realize that they're alone, no celebrities, no Quinntuplets...)

Quinn Murphy: Oh! Real "awesome", you scared them off! Brilliant move!

Carl Thompson: Don't blame me you little bastard. I'm taking this out on you in the ring.

Quinn Murphy: Bring it! And your stupid alligator! I need new boots!

(Quinn tries to shove Carl. Before Carl can react, the pair is interrupted by SSW Senior Advisor Dan Pandora...)

Dan Pandora: Why can't you two ever play nice, huh? You obviously share the same repellent for women.

Quinn Murphy: Seriously? Shouldn't your head be up Hartnell ass? Or maybe Devan's? We're having a grown up conversation here, right Carl?

Carl Thompson: Yeah, Pandora, this doesn't involve you.

Dan Pandora: (chuckling at the thought) That's the first time you two have ever agreed upon anything. Too bad teamwork isn't gonna help you in your Triple Threat match tonight. I wonder though, between you two, who's got what it takes to win. As Senior Advisor to President Hartnell, that does involve me.

Quinn Murphy: I'm not going to stay here and talk you two meatheads any longer. I am a match to get ready for.

(Quinn starts to walk off, the camera follows behind him...)

Quinn Murphy: Oh! Carl, I almost forgot! I have a present for you.

(Carl raises an eyebrow. Quinn reaches in his pocket and pulls out two packages. One is mascara and the other is eyeliner...)

Quinn Murphy: You see, I wear eyeliner, Carl... not mascara. I'd figure your boyfriend would have taught the difference by now.

(Carl just stares at Quinn, shaking his head...)

Carl Thompson: You are a strange, little man.

(Carl looks at Dan Pandora, and then back at Quinn Murphy, and then continues shaking his head as he turns and leaves...)

Dan Pandora: Strange... coming from the guy who's ego has its own championship belt. Welcome to Sometimes Strange Wrestling...

(The camera fades on a slightly amused Dan Pandora...)
(The scene opens inside the locker room of the SSW Heavyweight Champion, Jake Dirden. Lackey Dave Eddy, rookie protege HGH, and SSW Vice President Dean Jacobs surround DirdEY standing, literally, on a soapbox...)

Jake Dirden: The Design has outlined the way. I... I have guided you. I brought you here and tonight we show the world. Tonight we make the world believe in this Design. You... you are the foundation. The people in this room are the reason this Design was possible.

Dave Eddy: Boss? What about Dom?

(The Champ slowly directs his piercing eyes toward the now bashful lackey. The crowd follows suit with growing concern. DirdEY ignores and continues his motivational propaganda...)

Jake Dirden: The Design didn't even call for Brent Kersh by name. Jason Hartnell could've tossed any washed up 'legend' my way. He had his moment in the sun. It is now time for the Texas family man to mount his trusty steed and ride off into the sunset. Or more appropriately, maybe it's time for him to just get the hell outta Dodge. But tonight, we're going trick and treating. Let Kersh play dress up in his all black Texas swag. But I'll be wearing the black hat... with a big gold belt to go with it. So gentlemen, let's get in the Halloween spirit.

(As DirdEY dons his black Wyatt Earp Stetson, the rest of the entourage slowly covers their faces with smiling rubber masks of past presidents Bush 43, Clinton, and Obama. The Champ smiles at the creepy, but stoically happy facades before tipping his hat...)

Jake Dirden: Boys... Happy Halloween! Trick... AND treat!

(DirdEY raises the SSW Heavyweight Championship above his head to a rousing applause from his masked henchmen as the scene fades...)
(The scene opens up into the back where we find Filipe Barroqueiro walking down the halls all decked out in what seems to be a brand new suit just for the occasion. His always present and rather imposing bodyguard is walking some ways behind him they walk with some purpose towards their destination arriving at the locker room door of The Enforcer Brent Kersh. Kersh responds to the sight of Barroqueiro with an annoyed sigh as he drops his shoulders. Composing himself a bit Filipe adjusts his dark shades and knocks on the door recieving an almost immediate answer from Brent Kersh...)

Brent Kersh: What is it Fil? I'm sure you realize that I have a "pretty" big match to prepare for.

Filipe Barroqueiro: Oh I know. Always going on about match this and match that. I came here to invite you to be my guest tonight on "The Way It Is". Preparation or not, being able to speak your mind right before your "pretty" big match should be a welcome opportunity don't you think so?

Brent Kersh: Fil... are you listening to yourself? Since when have I ever felt I needed the opportunity to "speak my mind"? All my talking is done between the bells.

(The Fil drops his forehead into his hand, smirking at the response he received...)

Filipe Barroqueiro: Look Brent, I came here peacefully. If you don't want to accept my offer that's perfectly fine with me. But I don't have all night you know. I have to make sure things are set up accordingly for tonight's show.

Brent Kersh: Then you'd better get to that, Fil.

Filipe Barroqueiro: Oh I will. I will. And while I'm at it, you should consider this. Jake Dirden has already accepted my invitation to "The Way It Is" so if you really have nothing to say, I'm sure Dirden WILL!

(The Fil turns away from Kersh in an intense manner, walking away, leaving "The Enforcer" standing in the doorway of his locker room glaring at Barroqueiro as the scene fades out...)

Triple-Threat Match: #1 Contender's Match (SSW South American Championship)

"Mr. Awesome" Carl Thompson .vs. Quinn Murphy .vs. "The Highlight" Joe Morgan
(The scene reopens to the announce booth at ringside...)

Matt Ford: Our next match this evening folks will feature three up and coming superstars in Sunshine State Wrestling who are all making their SSW pay-per-view debuts tonight.

Willy Williams: That's right, Matty. These guys are the future of the company, no question about it.

Matt Ford: Tonight, one of them will get a guaranteed shot at the SSW South American Championship in the not too distant future.

Willy Williams: Meaning that this is a huge opportunity for all three men in this match, and means they'll likely set up a meeting with either Sebastian Galca or Pete Cormier, depending on the outcome of their steel cage match later on tonight.

Matt Ford: For Quinn Murphy, he's had a strong run in SSW since his debut match a few months ago and he'll be looking to take his career to the next level here tonight in Miami against some strong competition.

Willy Williams: And it's funny you mention those words, Matt, because that's the one thing I personally believe Quinn Murphy has been lacking -- strong competition. The opponents he's squared off against have been low to mid level athletes, with the only real exception being Devan Nox. In my mind, Quinn won that match, but the record books will tell a different story. Regardless, his lack of competition in comparison with these other two men could come back to hurt him tonight.

Matt Ford: That's an interesting point you make there, Willy. In saying that, he could also be the freshest of the three as well. Carl Thompson, who thus far -- just like his BFF Sebastian Galca -- remains undefeated in SSW, is coming off a gruelling battle with "The Natural" Pete Cormier. Joe Morgan paired up with Brent Kersh to take on our SSW Heavyweight Champion, Jake Dirden. Quinn, on the other hand, has only had to compete once in the past month.

Willy Williams: It's a fine line. You want to be rested, but you also want to be match hardened. We'll find out tonight where Murphy sits in the grand scheme of things.

Matt Ford: In contrast, Joe Morgan has had the polar opposite to Quinn in terms of opponents. He debuted just over three months ago against Devan Nox, and since then has had two meetings apiece with Pete Cormier and Jake Dirden. His road to this point has not been an easy one, but as the saying goes -- if you want to be the best, you've got to go against the best. And Morgan's certainly been doing that.

Willy Williams: Which finally brings us to Mr. Awesome, perhaps the favorite to take out this contest tonight. The man doesn't know how to lose yet and he's had a good variety of in-ring opponents, from high flyers to powerhouses, and he's put every single one of them away. Will that trend continue here tonight?

Matt Ford: It's looks as if we're about to find out.

Nicole Suárez: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest -- scheduled for one fall -- is a triple-threat match for number one contendership to the SSW South American Championship!!!

(The crowd pops and at that precise moment, the lights go into a rave like frenzy as "I.D.G.A.F." by Breathe Carolina starts to play. Quinn Murphy enters the arena, black hoodie over his head, and begins to make his way down to the ring...)

Nicole Suárez: Introducing first... from New York City, New York... weighing 130 pounds... QUINN MURPHY!!!

(Quinn Murphy slides through the ropes, removes the hoodie from his head, and leers at the crowd as they boo his entrance into the ring. He removes the hoodie completely and drops it outside the ring, loosening up as he prepares for the commencement of the match. Suddenly "Defeatist" by Hatebreed hits the P.A. system within the American Airlines Arena and the crowd comes alive with a strong ovation. Moments later, Joe Morgan steps out from behind the curtain -- the crowd continuing to give him a strong response as he begins to make his way down the ramp towards the ring...)

Nicole Suárez: Making his way to the ring... from Fort Worth, Texas... weighing 205 pounds... "THE HIGHLIGHT" JOE MORGAN!!!

(Joe Morgan makes a point of slapping the fans outstretched hands lining the railings on either side of the entrance ramp. Once he reaches ringside, he bounds up the steel steps and climbs between the top and middle ropes -- loosening his muscles up as his music begins to softly fade out. After several moments of silence, the screen goes dark and the lights go out as a classic movie voice narrator begins to speak...)

Narrator: In a world where professional wrestling outlines and dictates the strength and character of society, one company seeks to bring the masses to an all time high.

(Suddenly the screen lights up to show the Sunshine State Wrestling logo and merchandise. It also shows screaming fans lining up outside packed arenas to watch one of America's greatest past times...)

Narrator: But in this world even the SSW must rely on the uncoordinated and the untalented to entertain the fans...

(The video screen lights up showing images of many SSW Superstars, including - but not limited to - Brent Kersh, Devan Nox, Joe Morgan, Pete Cormier, Quinn Murphy and a number of other wrestlers, most who have come and gone. None of the images are flattering, as each shows the wrestler taking pinfalls or submissions or on the receiving end of big moves...)

Narrator: In a world terrorized by shoddy professional wrestling only one man can step up to be the savior of the SSW, the savior of the Industry, and of society as we know it...

(Suddenly epic music plays as spotlights point down onto the stage...)

(A circle of men and women dressed in togas bow down before a massive bronze statue of a godlike being. They seem to pray to this statue, begging for some form of salvation...)

Narrator: Forged from steel, blessed by the gods, only one man can bring back professional wrestling and elevate it to the level it deserves to be on. In this world, only one man is... Awesome!

(The arena goes completely dark and there is a sudden explosion, presumably where the statue was. Some lights come back on and the epic music continues as the smoke clears. Emerging from the smoke is none other than Carl Thompson. He wears a bronze helmet with a red plume, a bronze shield, a sword, a flowing red cape, his Awesome Title, and stylized wrestling gear...)

Nicole Suarez: Making his way to the ring, frome "Awesome" Austin, Texas and weighing in at 250 pounds of Pure Awesome... "MR. AWESOME" CARL THOMPSON!!!

(The epic music fades and is replaced by the explosions of a magnificent fireworks display, which culminates in a shower of golden sparks raining down behind our decked out warrior. A truly epic image. Finally "Hunt You Down" by Saliva starts to play over the sound system and Carl slowly makes his way to the ring...)

I am the master of this game
And everybody knows my name
And I will gladly make you see
That you should not have messed with me

But you have thrown the gauntlet down
I'm the only one who wears the crown
So I will gladly hunt you down
And I'm gonna stomp you into the ground

(As he walks towards the ring all of the "Ancient Greeks" who were praying for him walk him to the ring, thanking him for showing up to save them all. He walks slowly receiving their praises, but all the while eyeing the ring...)

And you know it's true
I'm just better than you
See the fear that's in your eyes
I'll make you realize...

(At the base of the ramp he stops and the "Ancient Greeks" kiss his feet, an act that mortals should do when faced with a God. To one Greek he holds out his shield arm, and they take the shield for him. To another Greek he hands his sword. Carl then starts up the stairs, following a few of the Greeks who slid into the ring before him...)

Next time you open your mouth up
You better be ready to back it up
You better talk to all your friends
I bet you won't do this again

Cause when you chose to raise your hand
That's when a boy messed with a man
And I will hunt you down my friend
And I'm gonna tear you limb from limb...

(Carl steps into the center of the ring, taking the time to stare down his opponents. He stands with arms extended as the Greeks carefully take off his cape, and then his Awesome Title. Finally Carl slowly slides off his helmet and hands it to a Greek on the outside of the ring...)

And you know it's true
I'm just better than you
See the fear that's in your eyes
I'll make you realize...

(As the song fades and the lights brighten Carl poses for the crowd, soaking in their reaction, only to be attacked from behind by Quinn Murphy...)

Matt Ford: AND MURPHY CATCHES CARL THOMPSON WITH A CLOTHESLINE FROM BEHIND WHEN HE HAD HIS BACK TURNED, SENDING HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE!

Willy Williams: Well that's a statement right from the outset by Quinn Murphy. He's being left layed out by Mr. Awesome on more than one occasion, and with Thompson being seen as perhaps the biggest threat IN this triple-threat -- Murphy's gone after him at the very first opportunity.

Matt Ford: And Joe Morgan takes advantage of the opening, attacking Murphy from behind with a kick to the back of the knee!

Willy Williams: "The Highlight" unloads with a barrage of right hands to Murphy now, backing him against the ropes before attempting an Irish whip... reversal by Murphy... Morgan hits the ropes and slides between Quinn's legs... springs up to his feet... but Murphy cuts him off with a kick to the midsection!

Matt Ford: Quinn Irish whips Joe Morgan towards the the corner, however "The Highlight" leaps up onto the second rope and flies off -- searching for a cross body plancha! DROPKICK TO THE FACE BY MURPHY INSTEAD!

Willy Williams: A high impact collision there! Murphy smirks at the crowd and is quick to make a cover, hooking the outside leg as he does so!

ONE!

TWO!

Willy Williams: But "The Highlight" is able to kick out!

Matt Ford: Murphy gets to his feet now, mocking Joe Morgan as he stands over him. But Carl Thompson is back in the ring now and maneuvers into a rear waistlock on Quinn! GERMAN SUPLEX!

Willy Williams: Thompson hangs on and goes for another, only Murphy is able to block it this time before driving his elbow backwards into the face of Mr. Awesome. Thompson shoves him away towards Joe Morgan who gets a boot up -- catching Quinn right in the face on his approach!

Matt Ford: Morgan runs right at Quinn now and looks to connect with a standing sidekick... only Murphy catches his boot! He spins "The Highlight" around and grabs on with a rear waistlock of his own!

Willy Williams: Look out though! Mr. Awesome applies a rear waistlock on Quinn Murphy as well now! DOUBLE RELEASE OVERHEAD GERMAN SUPLEX!

Matt Ford: WOW!

Willy Williams: What power exhibited there by Carl Thompson! He makes a lateral press cover now as the referee gets into position to count the fall!

ONE!

TWO!

Willy Williams: Quinn Murphy gets a shoulder up at two!

Matt Ford: An amazing show of strength there by Carl Thompson, no question about it. To German suplex two men at the same time is-

Willy Williams: AWESOME! But what did you expect, Ford? Awesome by name, awesome by nature.

Matt Ford: Thanks for the unbiased opinion there, Willy. Thompson drags Murphy up to his feet only to be poked in the eye by him, Murphy following it up with a firm right hand to the face.

Willy Williams: Murphy grabs hold of Thompson's right arm and twists it over before sweeping his legs out from underneath him, causing Mr. Awesome to crack the back of his head on the mat.

Matt Ford: And here's Murphy's first attempt at a pinfall as he makes the cover on Thompson, hooking the outside leg!

ONE!

TWO!

Matt Ford: But Thompson answers the count comfortably at two.

Willy Williams: Murphy and Thompson are both back up to their feet now, Quinn backing Mr. Awesome into the corner turnbuckles before attempting an Irish whip on him... reversed by Thompson... and Murphy impacts spine-first with the opposing corner turnbuckles!

Matt Ford: Thompson charges towards the corner now, only Murphy sees him coming and gets an elbow up -- catching Mr. Awesome flush in the jaw with it!

Willy Williams: Thompson staggers away and Murphy advances quickly on him... ONLY FOR MR. AWESOME TO EXECUTE A BELLY TO BELLY THROW THAT LAUNCHES MURPHY ACROSS THE RING!

Matt Ford: Thompson's brute strength can be overwhelming at times, as Quinn Murphy is finding out right now. To his credit, he's back up to his feet as Thompson advances on him and connects with a European uppercut.

Willy Williams: Murphy's on Dream Street at the moment as Thompson lifts the SSW superstar up with ease, perching him on the top rope before nailing him with a hard right hand.

Matt Ford: Joe Morgan's back in the ring now though and as Thompson loads up for another right hand, "The Highlight" grabs hold of his arm and spins him around -- connecting with a quick boot to the midsection.

Willy Williams: And followed up with a right hand. AND OHHHHHHHHHH! JOE MORGAN JUST SLAMMED MR. AWESOME'S FACE INTO THE QUINN MURPHY'S CROWN JEWELS AS HE SAT ATOP THE TURNBUCKLE! Look at the look on Quinn's face!

Matt Ford: He's in agony alright, just as you'd expect! Morgan backs Thompson up against the ropes now and looks for an Irish whip... reversal by Thompson... Morgan hits the ropes but hangs on -- halting his movement. Thompson charges in... but Morgan catches him with a boot to the face!

Willy Williams: Thompson stumbles away and Morgan charges right at him... only Thompson turns around and elevates "The Highlight" into the air with a back drop! ONLY MORGAN LANDS ON TOP OF MURPHY'S SHOULDERS! HURRICANRANA OFF THE TOP ROPE BY MORGAN!

Matt Ford: OH MY GOD!

Willy Williams: WHAT A CHAIN OF EVENTS THAT WAS!

Matt Ford: And now Mr. Awesome grabs hold of Joe Morgan and runs him towards the ropes, sliding him under the bottom strand and causing "The Highlight" to hit the floor outside!

Willy Williams: COVER BY THOMPSON ON MURPHY NOW! HE'S GOT HIM!

ONE!

TWO!

TH-

Matt Ford: Not quite as Quinn Murphy kicks out!

Willy Williams: Man, this match isn't even that old yet and they're tearing it up already!

Matt Ford: Well all three are great athletes in their own right. Carl Thompson has a background in collegiate wrestling, Quinn Murphy is a former gymnast, and Joe Morgan simply has no regard for his own personal safety.

Willy Williams: All all three of them want to be the number one contender to the South American Championship.

Matt Ford: Absolutely. Murphy rolls out of the ring now and staggers around it in a dazed state, using the ring apron to keep himself upright as Joe Morgan is in trouble outside the ring.

Willy Williams: Carl Thompson reaches over the top rope and grabs Quinn by the hair, pulling him up onto the apron itself now. Mr. Awesome hooks Murphy for a suplex... and brings him back into the ring with it!

Matt Ford: Thompson floats over for a lateral press cover now and sticks his forearm right in the face of Quinn Murphy!

ONE!

TWO!

Matt Ford: Kickout at two by Murphy!

Willy Williams: Here comes Joe Morgan now as he re-enters the ring... only for Mr. Awesome to FLATTEN him with a devastating clothesline! Another cover by Thompson, this time on "The Highlight" and again with his forearm in his opponent's cheek!

ONE!

TWO!

Willy Williams: But again, it's a kickout at two!

Matt Ford: Thompson drags Morgan up to his feet and nails him with a right hand which backs "The Highlight" up against the ropes. He attempts an Irish whip now but Morgan reverses it... Thompson hits the ropes and Morgan lowers his head... SUNSET FLIP BY THOMPSON! But Morgan rolls straight through.

Willy Williams: KICK TO THE FACE BY MORGAN! Damn, that shot sounded throughout this entire arena! Morgan drops down to make a cover and hooks the inside leg as well!

ONE!

TWO!

T-

Willy Williams: Mr. Awesome is able to kick out!

Matt Ford: A near fall there as both men are back up to their feet, with Murphy Irish whipping Thompson into the ropes... reversal instead by Thompson... Morgan rebounds off and ducks under a clothesline attempt... hits the opposing ropes... TILT-A-WHIRL HEADSCISSORS BY JOE MORGAN!

Willy Williams: Mr. Awesome's taken off his feet with that meneuver as Morgan is quickly to his feet, hitting the ropes and looking for a splash... but Thompson gets his knees up! THE AWESOME LOCK! MR. AWESOME JUST SNAPPED ON THE AWESOME LOCK!

Matt Ford: And Quinn Murphy is up on the ring apron now, distracting the referee! JOE MORGAN'S TAPPING OUT! HE'S TAPPING OUT TO THE AWESOME LOCK! BUT QUINN HAS THE REFEREE DISTRACTED AND HE DOESN'T SEE IT!

Willy Williams: He just saved the match for himself and Morgan! And oh! Thompson nails Murphy with a brutal left hand that knocks him down off the ring apron!

Matt Ford: AND CARL THOMPSON AGAIN APPLIES THE AWESOME LOCK ON JOE MORGAN! WILL HE TAP OUT AGAIN?! BUT QUINN MURPHY BREAKS IT UP WITH A DOUBLE AXE-HANDLE TO THE BACK OF MR. AWESOME!

Willy Williams: What action in this one as both Murphy and Thompson begin to trade shots in the center of the ring now, Joe Morgan down on the canvas in the background.

Matt Ford: Big right hand thrown by Murphy now but Thompson ducks underneath it... release German suplex from Mr. Awesome!

Willy Williams: Joe Morgan staggers to his feet now... and a German suplex for him as well, compliments of Mr. Awesome!

Matt Ford: And another one for Quinn Murphy! Thompson is German suplexing these two into next week!

Willy Williams: Morgan's back up to his feet now as Thompson turns around... TOTALLY AWESOME ON MORGAN OVER THE ROPE!!!

Matt Ford: "The Highlight" landed with HUGE impact there as Carl Thompson launched him out of the ring with Totally Awesome! Meanwhile Quinn Murphy is still down on the canvas. THE AWESOME LOCK! THOMPSON WITH THE AWESOME LOCK APPLIED ON MURPHY! HE'S CLOSE TO THE ROPES THOUGH!

Willy Williams: NOT ANYMORE AS MR. AWESOME INCHES HIM BACK TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE RING! IS HE GOING TO TAP OUT HERE?!

Matt Ford: Look out though -- Joe Morgan's up on the top rope! He leaps off... LEGDROP ON CARL THOMPSON! Right across the throat too! Morgan makes the cover and does his best to hook the leg!

ONE!

TWO!

TH-

Matt Ford: But Carl Thompson is able to kick out before three!

Willy Williams: Thompson gets up to his feet now and seeks some momentary salvation in the corner, only for Morgan to follow after him and connect with a forearm shot to the face!

Matt Ford: "The Highlight" looks for an Irish whip now but Carl Thompson is able to reverse it, only Joe Morgan leapfrogs backwards before hitting the turnbuckles!

Willy Williams: Thompson spins around though and catches him with a boot to the midsection before grabbing him by the head AND LAUNCHING HIM SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL RINGPOST!

Matt Ford: And that may very well put Joe Morgan out of this match-up now as he collapses through the ropes to the floor outside! Murphy's up to his feet as Thompson positions himself behind him... TOTALLY AWESOME!!! NO! MURPHY SLIPS OUT THE BACK! THE QUINN-ESSENTIAL!!!

Willy Williams: DAMN!!!

Matt Ford: MURPHY'S GOT TO GET ACROSS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING TO MAKE THE COVER!!! HE'S CRAWLING WITH EVERYTHING HE'S GOT TO GET OVER TO THOMPSON!!! AND HE... DRAPES AN ARM OVER CARL THOMPSON'S CHEST!!!

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-

Matt Ford: BUT THOMPSON KICKS OUT AT THE LAST SECOND!

Willy Williams: Man, that was close!

Matt Ford: And Quinn Murphy can't believe it! The delay between the execution of the Quinn-Essential and the pinfall attempt was the only thing that saved Carl Thompson in my opinion!

Willy Williams: Murphy is up to his feet now, still with a look of disbelief on his face. He makes his way over to a corner of the ring and climbs to the top rope, perching on the top turnbuckle. What's he going to do here, Willy?

Matt Ford: We're about to find out as he starts to stand up... but Thompson springs up to his feet and leaps up onto the second rope... BELLY TO BELLY SLAM OFF THE TOP ROPE BY MR. AWESOME!

Willy Williams: I tell ya what, I've lost count of how many suplexes Carl Thompson has done in this match. Incredible!

Matt Ford: Quinn Murphy rolls out of the ring, looking to recover and regroup after that high impact move! Look out though! Joe Morgan's standing on the top rope! AND CATCHES CARL THOMPSON WITH A SEATED SENTON INTO A DOUBLE LEG PINNING COMBINATION!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE

Matt Ford: YES?! NO! THOMPSON JUST MANAGED TO KICK OUT THERE!

Willy Williams: Talk about back and forth action. Every time you think this one is over, it goes to another level!

Matt Ford: Meanwhile Quinn Murphy is back in the ring and he goes to work on Joe Morgan, stomping him square in the sternum before using his boot to push Carl Thompson under the bottom rope and out of the ring!

Willy Williams: Murphy turns his attention back to Morgan now as he stands him up, doubling him over with a kick to the midsection before hitting the ropes... RUNNING BULLDOG!

Matt Ford: Quinn is looking to put this one to rest now as he makes the cover, neglecting to hook the leg however!

ONE!

TWO!

T-

Matt Ford: But "The Highlight" shows heart to kick out! Murphy's up to his feet now as he waits for Joe Morgan to return to his, positioning himself for the Quinn-Essential! Here comes Carl Thompson though! TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

Willy Williams: THOMPSON JUST HIT MURPHY WITH TOTALLY AWESOME AS HE MAKES THE COVER, HOOKING THE OUTSIDE LEG!!!

ONE!

TWO!

THR-

Willy Williams: But Joe Morgan breaks up the pinfall!

Matt Ford: Man, how many near falls are we going to have in this one?!

Willy Williams: As many as it takes, Ford! Morgan staggers back over to the ropes as an irate Mr. Awesome waits behind him, poised to give him a dose of Totally Awesome as well. YES! NO! Morgan counters it into an armdrag that sends Carl Thompson out of the ring!

Matt Ford: Dropkick to the lower back area of Quinn Murphy as he's sent face first into the turnbuckles! He staggers out and Joe Morgan scoops him up, bodyslamming Murphy down onto the canvas!

Willy Williams: And Morgan's pointing to the sky now! It looks like he's calling for the Ultimate Highlight!

Matt Ford: And if he hits it, this one could be over! Morgan scales his way to the top rope now! He's perched on that top turnbuckle as he begins to stand up... BUT CARL THOMPSON JUMPS UP ON THE RING APRON AND SHOVES HIM OFF, CAUSING MURPHY TO FALL FROM THE TOP TURNBUCKLE TO THE FLOOR OUTSIDE!

Willy Williams: Well scouted by Mr. Awesome! And now it's his turn to go up top! What's he going to do here?! OH SHIT!!! KILLER ABS!!!

Matt Ford: OH MY GOD!!! I THINK CARL THOMPSON JUST FLATTENED JOE MORGAN LIKE A PANCAKE!!! A TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUND MOONSAULT OFF THE TOP ROPE KNOWN AS KILLER ABS!!!

Willy Williams: I'D ALSO LIKE IT TO BE NOTED THAT CARL THOMPSON ALSO HAS KILLER ABS AS WELL! NO HOMO!

Matt Ford: THERE'S A COVER AND A DOUBLE LEG HOOK ON JOE MORGAN BY CARL THOMPSON!!!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Matt Ford: HE GOT IT!!!

Willy Williams: YES!!!

Nicole Suárez: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE WINNER OF THIS BOUT...... AND THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE SUNSHINE STATE WRESTLING SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP...... "MR. AWESOME" CARL THOOOOOOOMMMMMMPPPPPSOOOOOOOONNNNNNN!!!

Willy Williams: What a match!

Matt Ford: You're not kidding! These three guys left everything inside that ring tonight and any one of them could have walked away with number one contendership, but on this night-

Willy Williams: It was simply too much awesomeness for Joe Morgan and Quinn Murphy to overcome!

Matt Ford: That... wasn't what I was going to say.

Willy Williams: Well it should be, Ford, because that was an awesome display from "Mr. Awesome" Carl Thompson. And now he's secured a future title shot against whoever the champion is after tonight.

Matt Ford: Folks, don't go anywhere! Halloween Hostility will continue after this short break!

("Hunt You Down" by Saliva continues to blast throughout the American Airlines Arena as the official raises the hand of "Mr. Awesome" Carl Thompson, who soaks in a surprisingly mixed reaction from the Miami crowd. The camera focuses on several dejected young looking Quinn Murphy fans before fading out...)

WINNER & NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER: "Mr. Awesome" Carl Thompson
(via pinfall)

(The scene opens to the parking lot where an orange ford crown victoria with twenty inch chrome rims and dark tinted windows is pulling in...)

Matt Ford: Wait, is that the car that hit JahMon Rastafari and Scott Pandora?

(The car pulls into a parking spot that says "Reserved For Daniel Pandora"...)

Willy Williams: It can't be!

(The car just sits there, no one gets out...)

Matt Ford: Who the hell is that? It can't be Daniel Pandora, it just can't be.

(The car shuts off, but no one gets out...)

Willy Williams: I'm getting word that Daniel Pandora is in his office so there is no way he could be in that car at the moment.

Matt Ford: So now the question is, who IS in that car, and why are they here? To borrow a line from the movie Empire Records, "Isn't it customary to LEAVE the scene of a crime?"

Willy Williams: Uhh the crime happened in Estero, we're in Miami, and that movie is like twenty years old. Anyway, we will keep you updated on the situation with that car, but the show must go on.

(The scene fades out...)
(The scene opens up in the backstage area where we see Johnny Legend going into his car. Gary Mac and Johnny Knight begin loading their belongings into Knight's vehicle, a beep of the horn is heard, and Legend leaves...)

Johnny Knight: Good show tonight, Mac. You must be happy.

Gary Mac: It went...

(Before he can continue someone attacks him from behind, Knight screams out like a little girl and runs away, the man grabs Mac by the head and rams it into the side of the car...)

Man: You want to make fun of a disabled child?

(Again the man slams Gary Macs head into the side of the car before pulling him up then spinning him around throwing him back first against the car. The man gets in Gary's face once more looking even more pissed off...)

Man: If you think you can make fun of my little brother and get away with it, think again.

(The man kicks Gary in the ribs, security rush in and begin pulling the man away, with Mac the man turns his back for a second this gives Gary a chance to get up. As he does Mac runs leaps over the security and tackles the attacker to the ground, Mac rolls forward as the man goes to the ground...)

Matt Ford: That is the man and from earlier tonight and from what we can gather it was his brother who Gary Mac insulted.

Willy Williams: Police should be called right now, this breaks all the rules this is a fan taking it too far.

(Both men get up Gary goes to kick him but the man moves, as he does quickly he throws a right hook knocking Gary Mac to the floor. The man is on top of him and locks in a Dragon Sleeper...)

Security: Break the hold and leave the arena now.

(The man applies more pressure before releasing the hold as he does the man stands up and security begin taking him away, he turns to Mac one more time and spits in his direction. You can hear the fans cheering from the arena as security escort him out the ring. Johnny Knight arrives on the scene once again and helps Gary up...)

Johnny Knight: You got your ass kicked.

Gary Mac: Shut it, Johnny.

(Both men head towards the car as the scene goes back to the announcers...)
(The scene cuts out to the parking lot where Dominic Pure is walking with a brown package envelope in his hand. He approaches the production truck and enters the door, stepping inside with all of the SSW Video Production staff seated in front of equipment and television monitors...)

Dominic Pure: Who's in charge around here?

(A man hovering over everyone and watching the playback looks towards him and raises a hand...)

Production Manger: I am.

(Dominic Pure steps towards him and offers out the package to him...)

Dominic Pure: You will play this video tonight after my match.

Production Manger: What's on it?

Dominic Pure: That's not your concern right now. In fact, I don't want anyone to watch what is on this tape until my match concludes. Therefore, none of you will open it until I give you the cue.

(The man takes the envelope and sets it on a desk...)

Dominic Pure: No one watches it until my match concludes. Just pop it in the player and have it ready. I'll tell you when to play it.

Production Manger: But what is it?

(Dominic Pure smirks and taps the package with his hand softly...)

Dominic Pure: A DirdEY TV exclusive.

(He turns and leaves the production truck with all smiles on his face as the scene cuts back to the announce booth...)

Willy Williams: What was that all about?

Matt Ford: Dominic Pure just handed off something to our video crew and he wants it played after his match with Devan Nox tonight. I have a real ominous feeling about what could possibly be on that tape.

Willy Williams: Yea, I'm pretty curious to know what's on it now as well. He made it clear that no one will see it until his match concludes. There has to be something important on there.

Matt Ford: Time will tell as we inch closer to that moment in tonight's show.

The Way It Is
(The lights cut out and for a few short minutes the crowd is left to their own devices but through the cameras lens movement can be seen in the ring. Slowly but surely the lights turn on in the arena and the ring has been temporarily covered in some carpeting and we find Filipe Barroqueiro resting comfortably in a lounge chair right in the middle of the ring. The fans erupt once they can see him clearly and hes just letting it all soak in. Grabbing the very convieniently placed microphone the show can finally begin...)

Filipe Barroqueiro: Welcome everyone and this is The Way It Is. Tonight I am here to bring you my personal point of view on things you want to see, and hear about. With that very thought in mind, seeing that tonight is Halloween Hostility, I thought it would only be fitting that my guests would be the headliners for tonights event. Thats right foks we have Brent Kersh and Jake Dirden on the show tonight. This is sure to be a very interesting show I mean how often do you get the pay per view main event in a face to face interview live right before the main event tonight. Im sure you will enjoy it, and im going to enjoy the sheer chaos that will erupt from it.

(The Fil cross the ring as the cameras track his moment...)

Filipe Barroqueiro: Alright you know what I have spent enough time putting this show over, the people have come here to see Brent Kersh and Jake Dirden verbally go at it right here on The Way It Is. So lets bring out my first guest, most people are well aware we have known each other well for the last geez must be fifteen years now but im sure all of you know that. So without further ado I give you "The Enforcer" Brent Kersh!

("Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis starts blaring over the loud speakers and before any of the normal fan fare can appear to announce his entrance The Enforcer is making his way to the ring. The fans are going absolutely insane once brent Kersh appears from behind the curtains but tonight he is all business in the zone if you will. He is walking with an absolute purpose to the ring and he is not entirely happy about doing so you can just see it on his face he makes his way into the ring and shoots Filipe a sharp look to which Filipe just grins and shrugs off. Lifting the mic to offer Kersh the chance to speak which Kersh promptly ignores...)

Filipe Barroqueiro: One of your usual moods there eh buddy? Im starting to think Jacob over there is starting to mimic after you and your never ending silence. So I guess we shouldnt waste any more of ahem The Enforcer's time and lets bring out my next guest. He happens to be Mr. Kersh's opponent in the pay-per-view main event tonight. he is the SSW Heavyweight Champion... Jake Dirden.

("Hate Me Now" by Nas plays over the loud speakers the crowd is booing the champions arrival and growing louder by the moment. Brent Kersh is waiting somewhat impatiently for his arrival, and the music continues to play with yet still no Jake Dirden anywhere to be found. The music stops momentarily and Kersh is agitated only for the music to start again, with yet still no Jake Dirden anywhere to be seen. Kersh starts walking towards Filipe somewhat agitated wondering if Fil was just wasting his time, and Filipe is trying to get him to calm down seemingly knowing even less about Dirden's whereabouts...)

Filipe Barroqueiro: Look, Brent, why would I bring you out here on my inaugural show if I had any idea Dirden wasnt going to show up? I have just as much reason to be agitated about this as you do, so dont give me your crap about...

(With the music still blaring the SSW Heavyweight Champion sneaks into the ring behind Brent Kersh with a chair and swings for the fences. 'The Enforcer' ducks just as The Fil's eyes double in size at the sneak attack. Dirden nearly sends himself across the ring from the wild momentum while Kersh moves The Fil aside after dodging a chair shot from the champ. DirdEY tucks tail, bails to the outside, and quickly up the ramp taunting the eruption of jeers directed at him. Kersh stands up and shoots Fil an angry look and runs out of the ring after Jake Dirden leaving Fil alone in the ring personally putting his recliner chair back into place...)

Filipe Barroqueiro: Well that certainly isnt how I pictured things were going to end up tonight, but eventful is just the way I like it. Thank you for joining me tonight here at Halloween Hostility, and enjoy the rest of the show. My name is Filipe Barroqueiro and that's The Way It Is.

(The scene fades out...)
(Quinn Murphy is seen making his way down a hallway somewhere in the American Airlines Arena. There is pop to his step as he joyfully strolls up to a random closed door. His attention is quickly diverted from entering the room when he notices a folded piece of paper taped to his door. Murphy reaches up and snags the paper from the door, unfolding it to read it...)

Matt Ford: ANOTHER note? This is getting ridiculous.

Willy Williams: I agree. I'm starting to feel like I'm still in Mrs. Salem's seventh grade English class.

(Murphy's facial expression is that of suprise and satisfaction as he lets off a triumphant chuckle...)

Quinn Murphy: YES! I knew there were others that saw it the way I did. This is great news!

(Murphy nods in approval before opening the door and disappearing into the room...)

Matt Ford: Well... I'm not sure what the content of all these notes are but nobody seems to be disappointed as their reading them.

Willy Williams: Well, would YOU be disappointed if you got love notes from Natalie Burrows and Rachel Cole?

Matt Ford: You're a character, you know that?

Willy Williams: Absolutely, and my character is much more marketable than yours.

(The scene fades out...)
(The scene cuts to the private locker room of the Design, where Dominic Pure sits in a single reclining chair wrapping tape around his wrists as the door swings open and in walks Jake Dirden with the SSW Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. DirdEY scans the room...)

Jake Dirden: Where's Quinn?

Dominic Pure: Off doing... something. How are you feeling tonight, Champ?

(Dirden crosses the room grabbing a steel chair on his way toward Pure. The champ unfolds and spins the seat, sitting in it backwards facing his partner in crime...)

Jake Dirden: Funny you should ask, Dom.

(Dominic Pure's eyes look up from his taping and over to Dirden...)

Dominic Pure: What's the trouble?

(Dirden sits quietly for a few moments and speaks slowly...)

Jake Dirden: This Design started when I signed a per appearance deal with Hartnell back when SSW opened its doors . . . knowing full well I would become champion... and it would then force his hand into signing my exclusive deal giving us creative control. That was done for a reason Dom. I was supposed to be healthy . . . rested for tonight's championship defense. Instead, I've been put in handicap matches . . . gauntlet matches . . . I guess I'm just wondering if everything you've done has had The Design's best interest in mind.

Dominic Pure: Go on...

Jake Dirden: Dean Jacobs was outed and Devan Nox is breathing down your neck, and subsequently mine too.

(Dominic Pure smirks...)

Jake Dirden: Hey, you can think of her what you want, but that woman is a threat this Design.

(Dominic Pure leans forward and cuts off the end of the tape with his mouth and seals it up on his wrist...)

Dominic Pure: Is that right?

(Dominic Pure pulls out an envelope and holds it up. He tosses it onto the coffee table before the couch...)

Dominic Pure: You think she's going to be a threat after tonight?

(DirdEY stares at the envelope...)

Jake Dirden: Is that what I think it is?

Dominic Pure: Tonight is the night. It all comes crashing down on her tonight.

(The champ smirks...)

Dominic Pure: Jake, I want you to sit back and think about everything we've done to get to this point. Keeping it under wraps that you and I were in this together for as long as we did. You getting to host your own show at the Chase. The four way at Uprising. You threatening to walk out of the company and fighting for a new contract to give us the power. Getting to Dean Jacobs and making him our man on the inside. Obama masks. Quinn Murphy. Number one contender matches. Do I need to say these things to you to bring tonight into focus?

(Dirden's evil eyes slowly raise to meet Pure's...)

Dominic Pure: We have both worked very hard to get to this point tonight. Hell, we've been working on what is going to unfold tonight since this federation started. Months of preparing, plotting, scheming and keeping everyone on their toes. Keeping everyone else... looking over their own shoulder... for us. Tonight is the night, DirdEY. Tonight is the night that it all comes together and when we move forward, our feet come down hard with a ground shaking thud... one that lets everyone know.. that the Design is here.

(Jake stands tossing the SSW Heavyweight Championship over his left shoulder...)

Jake Dirden: Let me ask you something, Dom... because this has been on my mind lately. Quinn and I... we've been carrying the load in the ring while you've sat around wearing the suit and smoking Rothschilds. Booking the matches for this place didn't require you to be standing by idly and just directing traffic. You could have been in there as well and getting us more prepared for tonight. Hell, you could have been my partner against Brent Kersh and Joe Morgan two weeks ago. You had the power. You could have made it happen. So let me ask you this.. what was so important that you had to be sitting back and watching while Quinn and I put forth the sweat?

(Dominic Pure sits back in his chair and puts a fist to his face, propping it up...)

Dominic Pure: I stayed back to be the one who would come pick up the pieces if anything went wrong. I acted as this group's ace in the hole. As I said Jake... tonight... is the night. Not everything went our way on the road to getting here, but don't be so glass is half empty. The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. However, it's all part of the Design. The grand scheme of things that we set into motion on day one of this federation's existence. There is no need to focus on the bad. Accentuate the positive... eliminate the negative. Latch on to the affirmative. Don't mess with Mr. In Between.

(Dirden pauses for a moment staring blankly back at his counterpart, as if he's a poker player reading 'tells' when suddenly his iPhone rings. DirdEY taps the screen and puts it to his ear...)

Jake Dirden: Yes?

(A few moments of silence...)

Jake Dirden: You know what to do.

(Jake taps the screen again directs his attention toward Pure...)

Jake Dirden: He's here.

Dominic Pure: So we're ready?

(DirdEY glares at Pure. Pure glares back.,,)

Jake Dirden: The Design is ready... always, by blueprint. Let's just hope all its participants are.

(Dom and DirdEY share an uneasy yet confident look as the scene cuts back to the announcer's booth...)
(The scene cuts to the backstage area where a camera walks into the locker room of the Wizard of Ahhhhs. There is loud music going and there appears to be a beer drinking party going on in there...)

Willy Williams: Look at that, Matt! I should be in there getting my drink on!

Matt Ford: Getting your what on?

(There is a small crowd of men and women, all clinking bottles and having a good time. When the camera man is noticed entering by Grand Master Flask, he yells out to the crowd...)

Grand Master Flask: NEW PEOPLE!

The Crowd: HEEEEYYYYYY!!!!

(A can of beer is tossed in the direction of the camera and it goes out of view, presumably because the camera man caught it. The Wizard of Ahhhhs comes into the frame from the side and gets right up into the camera's picture, real close...)

The Wizard of Ahhhhs: It's like this SSW! Win or lose.. WE STILL BOOZE!!!!!

The Crowd: YEEEAAAH!!!

(The Wizard returns to the fray as the camera man exits the room. The scene cuts back to the announce table...)

Willy Williams: I feel like I'm being punished having to sit out here when there is a perfectly good party going on in the backstage area!

Matt Ford: Trust me, you're free to go whenever you want.

(The scene fades out...)

Singles Competition: #1 Contender's Match (SSW Heavyweight Championship)

Devan Nox (C) .vs. Dominic Pure
(The scene returns to the announce position at ringside where Willy Williams and Matt Ford are standing by for the next contest of the evening...)

Matt Ford: The action is set to continue here tonight, folks, as coming up right now we have a match that will determine the next number one contender to the SSW Heavyweight Championship.

Willy Williams: That's right, Matty. A guaranteed title shot is up for grabs here. As we all know, "The Enforcer" Brent Kersh is the current number one contender to that title. He gets his long awaited shot at Jake Dirden at the title tonight, and regardless of the outcome of the match -- either Devan Nox or Dominic Pure will be the next in line for a shot at the title.

Matt Ford: Like most of the matches here tonight, the stakes in this one are high. There will be no love lost between these two, and you can bet that both individuals will leave everything they have inside that ring tonight.

Willy Williams: Without a doubt. This match is not only important for Dominic Pure, but for The Design as a whole. Having the SSW Heavyweight Championship under your control means having power within the company itself, and if Dominic Pure and Jake Dirden both win here tonight -- it secures possession of the title for a long time to come.

Matt Ford: Or drives a massive wedge right through the middle of it.

Willy Williams: I really don't see that happening, Ford, although I'm not surprised you chose to adopt that attitude.

Matt Ford: Well, everybody wants the top spot but only one can hold it, Willy. You know that. I don't see Jake Dirden being willing to step aside and pass the crown to Dominic Pure, nor do I see Pure being content to sit back and let Dirden have all the crowning glory. What I DO know is that this Miami crowd will be firmly behind one of their own tonight in Devan Nox.

Willy Williams: Which won't rattle Pure at all. I think he thrives in a hostile environment and tonight is his opportunity to really step forward and make his claim for why he should be the next leader of this promotion.

Matt Ford: It's time to kick things off, folks. Nicole is standing by with the introductions.

Nicole Suárez: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest -- scheduled for one fall -- is for number one contendership to the Sunshine State Wrestling Heavyweight Championship!!!

(The scene returns to the ringside area where Nicole Suárez is standing by for the introductions...)

Nicole Suárez: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is to determine the number one contender to the World Heavyweigh Championship!

(The bass line from "Super Bon Bon" by Soul Coughing plays through the arena and the fans let loose with a bellowing howl of boos and jeers. Spotlights twist and change directions around the arena, while two spotlights sit on either side of the entrance, aimed up to "X" over the curtain...)

## Move aside and let the Man go through. ##
## Let the Man go through. ##

Nicole Suárez: Introducing first from Seattle, Washington, weighing it at 220 pounds.... DOMINIC PURE!

## Move aside and let the Man go through. ##
## Let the Man go through. ##
## Move aside and let the Man go through. ##
## Let the Man go through, through. ##

(The crowd boos heavily as Dominic Pure steps out onto the rampway in a white track suit and white hoodie, with purple sunglasses adorned over his eyes. He heads down to ringside as the fans let him have it.)

## If I stole ##
## Somebody else's wave ##
## To fly up. ##
## If I rose ##
## Up with the avenue ##
## Behind me. ##

(Pure makes his way down to ringside slowly, pulling down his shades with a lone finger to look at the crowd along the rails and he smirks jokingly back at them. He steps up onto the ring steps and wraps his arms around the top ropes, with his back to the ring and he looks out into the crowd, before slipping through the middle ropes and into the ring.)

## Some kind of verb. ##
## Some kind of moving thing. ##
## Something unseen. ##
## Some hand is motioning ##
## To rise, to rise, to rise. ##

(Dominic Pure makes to take off his hoodie and track suit when the lights cut out completely and "I'm So Sick" by Flyleaf plays...)

## I will break into your thoughts ##
## With what's written on my heart ##
## I will ##
## BREAK!!!!! ##

(Two spotlights immediately fire up and shine down onto the entrance way, where Devan Nox is standing...)

## BREAK!!!!!! ##

Nicole Suárez: And his opponent... from Miami, Florida... weighing 160 pounds... she is the SSW Television Champion... DEVAN NOX!!!

(She is wearing long, skin tight, black leather pants and a red and blue leather halter crop top -- the SSW Television Championship strapped around her waist. She is wearing white, large rimmed sunglasses and casually throwing up a "goat" sign with her free hand. Her other hand hangs off her pant pocket...)

## I'm so sick ##
## Infected with where I live ##
## Let me live without this ##
## Empty bliss ##
## Selfishness ##
## I'm so sick ##
## I'm so sick ##

(Nox unfastens her championship belt and removes her sunglasses -- handing both through the ropes to the timekeeper, who in turn places them at ringside.)

Matt Ford: We see these two in the ring and how would you describe their interactions any other way than bitter? These two don't like each other. They haven't since they first stepped foot in the ring together at Uprising.

Willy Williams: Tonight we are going to see them go one on one and how do you like what is at stake tonight. Number one contendership for the biggest prize in our company. Dominic Pure. Devan Nox. It's going to be one hell of a match.

Matt Ford: I'm sure you are right about that. We still haven't saw what was in the envelope that Pure was holding earlier tonight. We have to assume that the Design has something planned for Nox tonight and I just have that ominous feeling in my gut.

Willy Williams: Tacos before a 3 hour broadcast is always a bad idea. That ominous feeling is probably gas and now that you've brought it to my attention, I know who it's been for the past 2 hours.

Matt Ford: Really?

Willy Williams: Oh yea. I know it's been you now.

Matt Ford: I'm not even going to continue on this path. We have a big time match here to call and the referee has called for the bell. It's go time.

Willy Williams: Yea, game on.

Matt Ford: Pure and Nox squaring off for the first time. One on one. They lock horns and it's Pure going to work in behind Nox and he slaps at the back of her head. The crowd here letting Pure know that it was an awful display of disrespect and he's just going to laugh back at them and Nox.

Willy Williams: Working the head games on Nox.

Matt Ford: The Queen of SSW is walking the ring and she's glaring back at Pure. You know she wants this victory in a big way. She wants to prove the naysayers wrong about her and no one has had a louder and more resounding voice against her than Dominic Pure.

Willy Williams: They are coming together again. Pure works around and there is another slap to the back of the head by him.

Matt Ford: Still continuing with the disrespect of Nox. Getting back to what I was saying, this victory would mean a tremendous amount to Devan Nox. For Pure, anything less than a victory would be considered a personal embarassment. He had Nox dead to rights at Uprising when Jake Dirden snuck in and pinned Kersh to become the World Champion. Nox returned fire and was able to best Pure at the Chase for the Gold to win the Television Title in that big 7 Stages of Hell match.

Willy Williams: With Kersh's help. Don't leave that out.

Matt Ford: Arm drag take down here by Pure. He's got Nox locked up and he's going to hold on for that armbar submission. You see how he has the knee drove right into her back and side. He's going to work her arm over, possibly getting it weakened to the point where she will easily submit later to that single arm crab hold that he's used in the past.

Willy Williams: You brought up the win for the TV title and I mentioned how Brent Kersh helped her get over on Pure. Devan Nox returned the favor on an episode of South Beach Sunday and basically left Pure out on a platter for Kersh and he went on to become the number one contender to the World title. If not for that, we could have a totally different card tonight.

Matt Ford: Many of her detractors have said the same. That she isn't a real wrestler, but the fact remains true that she has changed the landscape of things around here in the SSW. Devan Nox is a presence. She is a force. You don't have to respect her ability, but you do need to respect what she has done in this federation since she signed up. She has truly grown into the face of the company that Hartnell wanted her to be.

Willy Williams: Nox is working up to her feet.

Matt Ford: Devan is trying to get out of this hold. Pure doesn't seem to want to let her go. Nox still has that arm locked up. Oh my. Fireman's carry and he flips Pure over onto his back. That'll break that hold. Nox up and she comes down with a quick leg drop to the throat of Pure and now she's looking to rally.

Willy Williams: She's got Pure up in a hurry. Whips him off into the ropes.

Matt Ford: Spin heel kick by Nox and she clotheslines Pure down with a leg to the throat. Just like Pure working the arm, Nox is working on the head and neck of Pure. She's setting him up for the Good Night Seattle later in this match.

Willy Williams: That superkick of hers. It can come at any time. Any moment could be the end for Pure if she gets that kick off.

Matt Ford: Nox with that kick boxing background in her years outside of the ring. She has a tremendous amount of power in her legs and she uses that to her advantage here in SSW. She's won countless matches with that lethal superkick of hers.

Willy Williams: I've hardly saw anyone who does it better. She has perfected that manuever and it's a big part of her success.

Matt Ford: Nox is waiting for Pure to rise to his feet. She's perched and ready. Devan Nox lines up him and there is a drop kick to the chest. Pure falls back into the ropes. Nox is up and she shoves him into the corner. Right forearms to the face of Pure,.. wait... Pure turns it around and slams her into the corner. Pure with punches connecting to her midsection. Now to her head. Here they come! Pure going crazy on Nox and there is the Eight Elbows!

Willy Williams: Those are nasty.

Matt Ford: The Eight Elbows by Dominic Pure. It's usually the precursor to the end of the match and he has connected with them all. Nox is staggering out of the corner and Pure takes her down with a drop toe hold. He works over on top of her and HE'S GOT THE ARM! PURE LOCKS IT IN! THE MOVE THAT HE HIMSELF HAS PATENTED AS HIS OWN! HE CALLS IT THE CLEANSING!

Willy Williams: NOX IS CLOSE!

Matt Ford: SHE GOT HER foot on the ropes. Great ring awareness by Devan Nox. This might have been the end for her right here.

Willy Williams: Dominic Pure had her, but he didn't have her in the middle of the ring. He slapped on that move... he used to call it the DuShamed and has since changed it to the Cleansing. He changed that at the same time that he changed his name to Dominic Pure, from Vinic DuShane.

Matt Ford: Hate to say it, but I really was a fan of Vinic DuShane. I think a lot of us were. This Dominic Pure... I don't know if you want to call it an alter ego, a personality change or what have you... he sure doesn't have the love of the fans like he once did.

Willy Williams: I'm not so sure that's a priority of his anymore. He seems content being a part of the Design and for all we knew, he never cared about the fans anyway.

Matt Ford: Pure works Nox back up to her feet. Double palm strike to the chest and that sends her off into the ropes. Pure with an open hand and he chops at her chest with force.

Willy Williams: That looks like a good time.

Matt Ford: I doubt that Nox agrees. She is in pain right now. Pure lifts her up and brings her down with a side slam. He's got the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Matt Ford: She's got the shoulder up.

Willy Williams: We've got this big match tonight. Pure and Nox with the number one contendership on the line. If Nox wins it, then she'll go on to face the winner of Kersh and Dirden tonight. Not a big deal there really. What if... what if Pure won this match tonight and Dirden retains later tonight. Could we be looking at Pure against Dirden for the title? You have to think that a match like that could shake the foundation of the Design.

Matt Ford: That is one way to look at it. However we've been fooled in the past many times by the Design. They always seem to have a plan and always seem to be a step ahead of things. Many of the victories against them have seemed like small potatoes in their eyes. Almost as if some of them were intended to be that way. When it's crunch time, the Design has aces up their sleeve and a seemingly endless supply of them.

Willy Williams: Pure and Nox taking it to the outside here. Pure is dragging her over to the ring post.. he wraps her arm around the post. Ohh, that's just brutal.

Matt Ford: He's doing more damage to her arm. If she finds herself in the Cleansing again, she might not be so lucky and be near the ropes. You have to figure that Pure won't make that mistake again.

Willy Williams: He's working on her arm and that's a fine strategy, but wouldn't you go for the leg instead? That seems like a better play in my book to take away her weapon rather than soften her up for his own finish.

Matt Ford: Pure takes her arm and wraps it around the steel of the ring post again. Nox rolls back into the ring and away from the corner. That's the only thing she can do right now to get away from this. Getting to your point, yes, I suppose either strategy is fine and could be advantageous. This match has been scheduled for a while now and both competitors have had plenty of time to think and scout each other out.

Willy Williams: Pure's back into the ring and he scoops her up and slams her back down. He makes the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Matt Ford: Kick out by Nox.

Willy Williams: She's hanging on in this one. Pure has been a dominating force so far.

Matt Ford: He's looking to continue that offense as well. He's pulling Nox up to her feet now. Pure snaps her off into the ropes. Pure ducks low.

Willy Williams: Nox grabbed the ropes and held on!

Matt Ford: No return from Nox. Pure is up. GOOD NIGHT SEA... NO! HE CAUGHT HER FOOT!

Willy Williams: ENZIGUIRI FROM NOX!

Matt Ford: Great move by Nox to turn that into something. She's got the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Willy Williams: NO! NO! Just a two there!

Matt Ford: Just two?

Willy Williams: Pure got the shoulder up and the referee is waving off the pinfall.

Matt Ford: That was an awful close call there for Pure. Nox almost won this match and she came out of nowhere with that enziguiri.

Willy Williams: You're right, but did that not seem like a pretty fast count?

Matt Ford: I wasn't really paying attention to the speed of the count. The move, cover and pin all happened to fast. I think we were all taken by surprise.

Willy Williams: Whatever. I think it was fast.

Matt Ford: Nox pulls Pure up to his feet. She lifts him up and there is an atomic drop. Nox with a roundhouse right to the midsection. She grabs him and big time facebuster by Devan Nox.

Willy Williams: She is rallying now.

Matt Ford: Nox with the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

Matt Ford: Just two that time. Have any problem with the speed of that count?

Willy Williams: No.

Matt Ford: There is no problem then. It's all in your head. Nox works Pure up to his feet and she chops away at his chest. Another chop by Nox. Pure comes back and slams her with a forearm smash.

Willy Williams: Trading blows with Pure isn't what Nox wants to be doing.

Matt Ford: Pure with another forearm smash. Nox brings in a rising knee to the midsection. She grabs him by the head. Cutter attempt is blocked by Pure!

Willy Williams: This is getting real good. Pure punches her in the kidney. Locks her up with an inverted headlock. Nox rolls over and drives Pure back into the corner with her shoulder into his midsection!

Matt Ford: Nox drives another shoulder... Pure hops up over the top of her. Rolls through into a sunset flip!

Willy Williams: Nox keeps it going!

Matt Ford: Nox bridges! She's got the pin!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Matt Ford: SHE DID IT! DEVAN NOX PINNED DOMINIC PURE!

Willy Williams: WHAT? THAT was a fast count. Undeniable!

Matt Ford: The referee made the three count. Devan Nox just earned her opportunity to fight for the World Heavyweight Title!

Nicole Suárez: The winner of this match and NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP... DEVAN NOX!!!

Matt Ford: What an enormous victory for Devan Nox. You look to ringside here and there are her label representatives! They are all smiles tonight and they should be. Devan Nox is the new number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title!

Willy Williams: Well, regardless of my opinion, she is out there and giving high fives and celebrating with the fans at ringside. Pure is in the ring and he is staring at the ring canvas. Obviously, he is disgusted and with good reason. He should be. He just got screwed by a referee. Matt, that was without question a fast count.

Matt Ford: It did seem a little fast, but Pure just didn't answer to the three count and now it's party time for Devan Nox. A short celebration will be followed by hard preparation for a challenge at the World Heavyweight Title. All this and in just a few days, her new album will be available for sale in stores all across the country. This is her night.

Willy Williams: She's heading out of here and proud of what she did. Look at Dominic Pure. He's motioning for a ring microphone.

Matt Ford: Oh, this sore loser is going to run her down in her moment of glory.

(Devan Nox has reached the top of the rampway and she has her hands raised in victory. The crowd comes back with a huge ovation of cheers. In the ring, Dominic Pure has risen up to his feet with a microphone in hand...)

Dominic Pure: Hold up. Hold up.

(The crowd boos loudly.)

Dominic Pure: Devan Nox.... big win for you there, huh? Maybe the biggest of your career up to this point. You seem to have it all going on for you right now and that deserves some respect doesn't it?

(The crowd cheers a bit...)

Dominic Pure: You aren't going to get it from me though.

(The crowd boos...)

Dominic Pure: We've heard the rumors up to this point and I'm going to validate them. You see... I'm glad that you won this match tonight and the way you did it. I know how to count to three and I sure as hell know what a referee's cadence is supposed to be. Tonight, I was the victim of a fast count.

(The crowd boos loudly. Devan Nox looks disgusted at Pure...)

Dominic Pure: This might come as news to a lot of you people, but tonight, I'm going to expose you Devan. I'm going to expose you right here, right now.

(The crowd boos...)

Dominic Pure: Several members of our roster have been vicitimized in your matches. How about Pete Cormier? He got disqualified for pulling your hair too much. Has anyone ever heard of a disqualification for pulling hair?

(The crowd boos...)

Dominic Pure: How about Quinn Murphy, though? The man that went around showing people a video clip of the finish of his match with you and claimed that he was a victim of a fast count by the referee. I saw that video and what I saw was clear cut evidence of awful referee'ing.

(The crowd boos...)

Dominic Pure: I had a feeling that tonight.. with your music career about to take off again... big time opportunity to advance in this federation.. that it was going to happen again. I was not disappointed either. I was a victim of a fast count as well.

(The crowd's boos get louder and louder...)

Dominic Pure: Today.. it's judgment day, Devan. I've said it all along.. that you were no real wrestler and tonight... I show the proof. Direct your attention to the Sunshine Vision everyone. See Devan Nox for what I know her as... a cheater!

(The scene cuts up to the Sunshine Vision. The black screen goes into video from a handheld camera. Peeking around a corner where there stands a group of three men in suits. They look around cautiously and wait when a SSW referee steps into the frame...)

Willy Williams: Matt, those are her label representatives!

Matt Ford: Quiet.

(One of the label reps pulls a white envelope from his inner jacket pocket and hands it off to the referee...)

Label Rep: I don't care how it happens, but Devan doesn't lose to Quinn Murphy tonight. I don't care how you do it, but make sure that she beats him tonight. You take care of us.. we take care of you. It's all there.

(The referee opens the envelope and his eyes go wide. He slips it into his pocket quick and nods, leaving the area in the opposite direction. The scene cuts to another shot. This is coming from behind a filing cabinet in Dean Jacob's office. Dean Jacobs is seated at his desk with his feet kicked up and the three label representatives are seated in front of him.)

Label Rep: This Pete Cormier.. he's an animal. We can't have him hurting our investment. Devan Nox is worth a lot to our company and yours as well. We wouldn't want Cormier to be manhandling her. What can we do tonight to fix this?

Dean Jacobs: You're supposed to have a briefcase for me, aren't you?

(The label rep brings up a briefcase and pops it open, exposing bundles of money...)

Dean Jacobs: We'll have him disqualified before it gets out of hand. He's likely to do something stupid and I'll just tell the referee tonight to be extra sensitive to his stupidity.

Label Rep: Make sure your referee gets a piece of that as well.

Dean Jacobs: No worries, gentlemen. He'll get a cut.

(They reach over the desk and shake hands.)

Willy Williams: MATT, CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT WE ARE SEEING?

Matt Ford: ...no... I can't...

(The crowd in attendence starts booing very loudly as the last video clip comes onto the screen with the three label representatives standing with tonight's referee...)

Label Rep: Pure is no slouch. This one is going to be tough, so just give Nox a faster count. If he wins, there isn't anything we can do about that, but if she gets an opportunity tonight... your hand hits that canvas as fast as you can make it hit the canvas. You understand?

Referee: If I get caught doing this, I'm going to lose my job.

Label Rep: That's why we have prepared you for such a problem.

(He hands off a white envelope to the referee and then hands him a set of keys.)

Label Rep: Tier 3, in the Blue section. Tinted windows, seat warmers. It's your new Cadillac... and I'm sure you'll be able to get something nice for your wife and kids with that envelope. Remember what we said. Get this match over with if you get the opportunity.

(The scene cuts back to the ring as the Sunshine Vision cuts out. Dominic Pure taps the microphone off his head as the fans boo loudly at Devan Nox. She looks back to the ring at Dominic Pure with tears in her ears. She drops down to her knees and puts her hands to her face.)

Willy Williams: MATT! DEVAN NOX IS A FRAUD!

Matt Ford: I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW. OUR REFEREES HAVE BEEN BEING PAID OFF BY HER LABEL!

Willy Williams: LOOK INTO THE CROWD! SECURITY IS SURROUNDING THEM AND TRYING TO GET THEM OUTTA HERE ALIVE!

(The shot cuts to Dominic Pure in the ring...)

Dominic Pure: It's over. Goodnight... Devan Nox.

(Pure drops the mic into the ring and stares with an evil smile on his face at Devan Nox. She stands up and departs the rampway, heading to the backstage area with smeared makeup running down her face. The fans are near riot in the crowd, hurling concessions at the Label Representatives, who are trying to make their way through the crowd with SSW security trying to help them out...)

Willy Williams: Matt, this is unbelievable. Devan Nox.... wow.. Devan Nox has been winning matches with paid off referees. I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE FAST COUNT!

Matt Ford: I'm not even in a place where I can say you were right. I'm absolutely blown away about this. Devan Nox was just on top of the world... and Dominic Pure... he might have just toppled that world to the ground.

Willy Williams: That was what was in the envelope. The Dird-EY TV exclusive. He has the footage of the referees and Dean Jacobs receiving money to fix the matches. Now we know why Dean Jacobs has had on excellent suits and watches.

Matt Ford: This one just takes the wind out of me. I'm stunned. Our fans are stunned. What is Jason Hartnell going to do about this embarassment? How will SSW survive when the face of the company just got exposed in a cheating scandal?

WINNER & NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER: Devan Nox???
(via pinfall)

(The camera follows President Hartnell backstage after witnessing what just transpired. Devan Nox is close behind him...)

Devan Nox: Jason, I swear to you, I don't know what just happened out there but I had nothing to do with it.

Jason Hartnell: I really don't want to hear it right now.

Devan Nox: I just need you to believe me.

Jason Hartnell: Devan, you need to go home. You're suspended until further notice.

Devan Nox: What?

Jason Hartnell: Go home.

(President Hartnell begins to walk away but turns around mid stride, glancing over his right shoulder without looking at Devan...)

Jason Hartnell: And you can leave the title belt here.

(Jason Hartnell holds out his hand. Devan walks towards him and places the SSW Television Championship belt in his hands. The camera focuses on Devan whose attention is quickly turned to SSW Senior Advisor Dan Pandora. The pair exchange a quick glance before Devan starts speaking. She rushes toward him. You can hear a sense of panic in her voice. Jason meanwhile folds up the Television Title and walks away...)

Devan Nox: I swear I had nothing to do with this. I didn't know!

Dan Pandora: Devan... calm down. (pausing mid-thought) This isn't like you...

Devan Nox: Yeah, well explain that to Hartnell. Cause I'm pretty sure he just yanked my title and told me to go home. I've been busting my ass since I walked into this federation. And Pure just managed to make it null and void in a matter of minutes.

Dan Pandora: I don't know what just happened out there, but if you tell me you didn't know, then I believe you. Devan, it can't be that cut and dry -- nothing ever is in this industry. It's Pure's word, Pure's footage, Pure's design for god sakes...

Devan Nox: I swear, this is like déjŕ vu. Except this time there's no needle hanging out of someone's arm.

(Dan's cellphone begins to ring. He looks at the screen and silences it...)

Devan Nox: How do I fix this?

Dan Pandora: The first thing you have to do is calm down. I know Jason better than anyone in this industry. Once he gets the initial frustration out of his system, he'll have his bearings and you... we... can fix this. There's absolutely no way he can take The Design's word as truth. Not in this lifetime.

(Dan's cellphone begins to ring again. He silences it a second time...)

Devan Nox: Yeah, calm down? Great idea. I have an album drop in forty-eight hours and Pure just made me look like a fraud. Two hours ago, my stars were aligned perfectly and now...

(Devan stops mid thought. She is clearly upset. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath...)

Devan Nox: You're right, I need to calm down.

Dan Pandora: Devan... rockstars aren't ever aligned. How many Behind The Music documentaries have you seen with perfection as the tagline? (inching closer to Devan) The bright side here is that you still have an album drop in forty-eight hours. You still have the knowledge that no one has ever touched the title around your waist. (placing his right hand on her right hip) And most importantly, you have the truth in yourself to push to past this Pure... bullshit.

(An SSW production assistant approaches the pair...)

Production Assistant: Excuse me, Mr. Pandora, President Hartnell wants to see you in his office right away. He asked that I come find you.

(Devan and Dan exchange an intense look. Devan looks away, closes her eyes with a slight pain look, and then returns her attention to Dan...)

Devan Nox: Duty calls...

(Annoyed at the interruption, Daniel turns his attention towards the production assistant...)

Dan Pandora: Well, you found me! I don't know why you just didn't call.

Production Assistant: Actually, sir, President Hartnell tried... twice... but it went to voicemail.

(Devan smirks slightly...)

Devan Nox: Daniel! Go do what you need to do.

(Slowly nodding his head in agreement, Daniel motions towards the production assistant...)

Dan Pandora: Go back to President Hartnell's office and tell him that that I'm currently held up dealing with a talent relations issue and I'll meet with him as soon as I can.

(Devan steps closer to Dan. She cuts the SSW production assistant a look and he quickly leaves. Devan slips her hand over Daniel's wrist that is still on her right hip...)

Devan Nox: Since when did you start dealing with talent? Look, I don't want you to be where you're not supposed to be. Go see Hartnell. I'll be okay.

Dan Pandora: Devan, I've been in the ring with you twice now. I know talent when I feel it.

(Dan's phone begins to ring. He looks down at the screen. The camera pans to show Jason Hartnell's name on the small LCD screen. Dan slowly pulls his hand away from Devan's hip, holding the phone up to his ear...)

Dan Pandora: (on the phone) Jason, yeah, everything's as okay as it's going to be.

Dan Pandora: (putting his free hand over the speaker end of the phone while listening to the receiver...) What are you going to do now, Devan?

(Before Devan can speak, Travis Holland approaches behind the pair. He is on his cellphone in mid conversation...)

Travis Holland: Are you serious? I realize you can do whatever you want, but don't think you won't be paying out of the ass for this. And don't think any of that music belongs to you either. You will be hearing from her attorneys in the morning, so I'd clear your schedule.

(Devan face turns quickly into shock and then anger...)

Devan Nox: Please tell me that wasn't what I think it was?

Travis Holland: The label is dropping you in light of the events that just took place. They are claiming that they had no knowledge of any of this and that you devised the whole plan. The album is dead.

Devan Nox: How could you let this happen?

Travis Holland: I promise you I had no idea this was going on. This is totally on the label, you have to believe me.

Devan Nox: Well, I don't know who to trust at this point.

(Devan turns her back to Travis and back to Daniel...)

Devan Nox: Well, Daniel. It looks like I'm going on vacation!

Dan Pandora: (hanging up the phone) I could be joining you if I don't meet up with Hartnell right now. He's still uh... you know... digesting this lunacy.

(Devan grabs Dan's hand and looks at the number still written on his hand in Sharpie...)

Devan Nox: Go do your job. You know how to get a hold of me. But if you're serious about that, there's a first class plane ticket to London with your name on it. Just say the word.

(Travis looks stunned by the offer. Devan turns to him...)

Devan Nox: I think we better leave before I lose my mind and that video goes viral, too.

(Devan drops Dan's hand and the pair lock eyes. Devan begins to slowly walk away, walking backwards. She pauses, throws Dan the goat, and then turns and walks toward the exit door. The camera follows Devan and Travis out to her limo which is converged by the paparazzi. Devan is silent as the cameras flash in her face. She slides into the limo and closes the door behind her as the scene fades out...)
